Gems & Pages Foundation, established in 2023, is a heartfelt tribute to the nurturing spirits of my grandmother, Betty “Bigma” Jordan, and the wisdom of my great-grandmother, Iceola, and my mother-in-law, Almeda. Their profound influence on my life has shaped our mission to foster connections through creativity and education, believing deeply in the transformative power of each individual’s story.

Alongside my husband, David, who once turned his culinary skills into a profession and now delights in making his own jams and jellies, we channel our passions into Gems & Pages. David brings creativity not only to the kitchen but also to the written word, enhancing our projects with his diverse talents. My role at Gems & Pages is multifaceted—consulting, writing, and crafting one-of-a-kind jewelry designs that echo the life and legacy of the inspiring women in my family.
